BubbleTown

A Chrsitmas Tradition

Of all the joy and all the cheer and the festive lights this year - one above all else fills me with glee - a tradition unlike another, you see. A story about a man with a vision of more two small children who loved Christmas lore.

My favorite Christmas tradition. The weekend following Thanksgiving, we take the kids to the same store, and we all pick out a new item for BubbleTown. I hope you enjoy the story.

This is the story of BubbleTown, a Taylor family tradition.

Gather ‘round, gather ‘round, it’s that time of year,
To tell you a tale full of holiday cheer.
It’s the story of Harold, a man with a dream,
Who built Bubble Town—a Christmas supreme!

It started in Twenty, when the world felt so cold,
Harold had a vision, both daring and bold.
He built a clock tower, the town’s beating heart,
With Snoopy’s Cafe and the Bubble Factory to start.

The townsfolk all gathered, their spirits held high,
Under twinkling lights and a wintery sky.
}Their first Christmas together was merry and bright,
A symbol of hope on that magical night.

In twenty-one, Harold knew it was time,
To make Bubble Town even more sublime.
Golden reindeer lit streets with their glow,
New benches and lighting began to show.

On December the first, with a flip of a switch,
The town lit up—it was truly rich!

Then came twenty-two, with colors galore,
The Crayola Factory opened its door.
Snowy’s Diner brought warmth and delight,
As the town grew stronger, day and night.

Slow and steady, Harold’s plan came to be,
A town of industry and creativity.

Twenty-three arrived with attractions anew,
A grand Christmas tree and a gift box too.
The Crayola trucks began to roam,
Spreading the joy of this magical home.

New faces appeared, and the town came alive,
With the magic of Harold, the town did thrive.

Now we’re here in twenty-four,
And Bubble Town’s grown even more.
The Crayola Store brings commerce and glee,
While the Griswold’s light up the town’s marquee.

A water tower stands, so proud and tall,
Ensuring the town thrives for one and all.

Though the Bubble Factory is under repair,
The spirit of Harold is still everywhere.
For in Bubble Town, the joy doesn’t fade,
It grows brighter with each memory made.

So this holiday season, let’s follow his lead,
To bring joy to others through word and deed.
For Bubble Town’s magic is a lesson, you see,
That love and tradition make the best legacy.

Wishing you light, laughter, and holiday cheer,
From our family to yours, this magical year.

Happy Holidays!

I hope you have enjoyed these thoughts for your self-examination. See you next week.
